In partnership with the Lower Eastside Girls Club, our Angeline Tee features LESGC member Angeline Qiu's embroidery in celebration of International Women's Day.
The pandemic prevented many members from visiting the Girls Club last year, so supplies for an embroidery project were sent to their homes. At the height of Covid-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement, the girls were invited to express their feelings through the embroidery project.
